About Me.
I am a captain of my own ship both literally and figuratively. I have taken many routes less traveled in life which I believe has contributed to my unique characteristics of being conscientious and to the development of my strong sense of integrity.

I served honorably in the U.S. Army prior to a professional career in public service. I hold a master's degree in public administration which has provided me a broad range of opportunities at both state and federal levels of government as well as the private sector. These opportunities have allowed me to gain valuable experience planning and managing various projects throughout a 20-year career.​
In addition, I hold a Merchant Mariner Credential, making me a certified "Captain" with the U.S. Coast Guard. I have the pleasure of serving the Quad City Area as a captain on the Channel Cat Water Taxi. I do this because I love it which really encouraged me to change my course in life and do something that I really enjoyed and was passionate about.

Being a captain on the Channel Cat allowed me to meet all kinds of people and families and really triggered the desire to continue serving the Quad City Area.

I altered my career course in public service with a heading towards real estate. I currently serve the Quad City community as a real estate professional licensed in both Illinois and Iowa.
